Pedestrian Flood Door - Model: PD-520
The PD-520 Pedestrian Flood Door is one of the most progressive products in the flood protection barrier market today. The PD-520 is a specially designed, normal use pedestrian door that also acts as a flood protection door. As long at the PD-520 is closed and latched, your facility is protected from flooding continuously. This eliminates the need to have your facility monitored both day and night, and does not require someone to place a flood protection barrier. The PD-520 is excellent for flooding conditions that may happen without notice, when you may not be prepared.
The PD-520 comes pre-hung on the frame, ready to install, and can be fitted with standard panic hardware or other specialized locking and latching hardware. For mechanical rooms, elevator shaft maintenance access or other critical infrastructure, the PD-525 Mechanical Room Door is a variation on the PD-520 Pedestrian Door. The PD-525 utilizes a 2-point mechanical wedge latching system to provide an additional measure of protection by ensuring additional sealing capabilities.
